Mik Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Tragedies like this happen all the time on the Oregon coast. Even if you are able to swim you wouldn't last long in the cold water. Lifesaving technique to remember: never take your eyes off the person to be rescued. That means jumping, not diving into the water like they do in the movies.
