Forum Support Old55 Posted January 13, 2011 Forum Support Posted January 13, 2011 We shipped two boxes one late November and one mid Dec. The first one arrived after six weeks. The tracking on the last one an over sized box with flat screen is due to arrive in Manila soon. I hope the US or Filipino customs guys don't start messing around with the B-boxes. Dave Hounddriver Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Do we know if other countries are doing this or is it just boxes originating in the United States of Anal Homeland Security? For example, boxes shipped from Canada? Anyone getting delays and inspections there? What about other western countries?

FlyAway Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Well, The list from Manila Forwarder pretty much covers anything you would want to send. Of course who would want to send some of the stuff on the list?

Mr Lee Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Well, The list from Manila Forwarder pretty much covers anything you would want to send. Of course who would want to send some of the stuff on the list? Yes that pretty much covers just about everything and I have to wonder why the heck the US cares about some of this stuff unless they are trying to prevent US citizens from moving out of the country with their worldly goods but food WTH is their problem. I think it is important to note that it says used clothing of commercial quality, so I would take that to mean that which would be sold, and I sure hope they do not mean any used clothing. My wife and I always send over boxes of clothing for our family, and just sent two, so I hope they do not stop and confiscate that clothing, since it is meant only for our family and not for resale. I told my wife to include a letter in the top of each box stating that she is one of 13 and each has a dozen or so kids, and that the clothing is only for her family but I doubt even that would stop them if they are getting bugs up their asses nowadays. is this world coming to?
