Inspector Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Anybody know, aside from 500 pesos at the SM Mall...where to watch this thing?
ekimswish Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Never been in the Philippines for a Pacquiao fight, so I'm no expert, but heard that the commercials on regular TV last 15 minutes between every single round, so it's big time delayed. Channelsurfing.net is good for smaller events to watch live on the internet, but freezes up big time for Pacquiao fights, probably because of the PWA (Pacquiao Worldwide Army). If I were there on the 13th rather than the 20th, I'd cough up the dough and watch in the theater, or with a bunch of drunk Filipinos in their house. Here in Korea I'll be forced to roll the dice with www.channelsurfing.net, and watch the whole thing in good quality later, after already knowing what happened, doh! Inspector Posted November 5, 2010 Author Posted November 5, 2010 Yeah, regular TV is a bad watch...wouldn't be as bad if those 15 minutes of commercials were superbowl quality, but they replay the same lame ones over and over. ....and over. Makes you hope for an early knockout, mine. I'll probably head off to SM to watch, unless I can find a closer venue.
