2011 Forum Get Together

It is almost certain now, I wont be coming. Kid has some awards coming from school on the 19th. Gotta show interest in something like that.Both of Jessie's sons do very well, they are usually at the top of their class, as in number 1. I never had that problem. LOL

OKAs the date gets closer to the forum get together this thread will be for questions, confirmations of attendance and get together information only,all other new off topic posts will be moved to a relevant section of the forum or if there is not one then to off topics and last resort trash.So please from now on keep this to the topic. Anyone else wish to attended the get together,bring a friend if you like?

I will not be able to attend. For those who do attend, can we get some video and photographs for those, like myself, can not attend? :cheersty:Always appreciate placing the faces and bodies behind the posts.

OK....I will arrive Cebu this Monday so should be attending with 1 other.Couple of questions,Is there a hotel nearby?The meet begins at 5..are we eating together? If so, what time do we expect to order food?

Yes there are hotels around there and in fact there is a nice one call Montebello Villa Hotel behind the country mall and my wife and I have stayed there a few times and Boss Man stayed there last year but you do not have to stayed right there since The Ranch is only a taxi drive or Jeepney ride away from the Ayala Mall area and a couple jeepneys or a taxi from the heart of the city, yet the above hotel is convenient and has two swimming pools, a nice bar and is nicely laid out with nice gardens etc, so we found it to be a very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.We will start at 5 and people order their own food whenever they wish to, and Tom and I will try to arrange some snacks for before or during the meal, like we did last year. Some order drinks and just bs and then order food, or some like to get the food out of the way and then just drink or mingle, it is up to each member to do as they wish and at least Tom, his wife Ann, myself and my wife Nila will be there by 5 PM and members can then come as they wish.I would like to remind everyone that 5 PM is part of the heavy traffic times in Cebu on a Friday afternoon, so expect traffic that time of night, and be pleasantly surprised if we are lucky enough that there is none.

To Bump this up again because the March get together in Cebu City, at The Ranch restaurant on March 18 and start around 5 PM and go to whenever the last person leaves, is coming up soon. Below is an update of who is coming so far. The get together is for adults, singles, couples, married or just gf's and there is usually a lot of talking, music, TV and just getting to know each other. Smoking will be at outside tables only, inside is no smoking.So far it is Tom (Boss Man) and his wife AnnOf course my ugly self and my beautiful wife and hopefully our adult teacher daughters, Charity and May and probably a couple of their teacher friends they may wish to bring.Frank and his lady, Paul Ancienrock and his wife ElsaMike (Ekimswish) and his wife, if he is in country at the time????? Possibly Rusty and ???? On the map below, it will be approx where the mouse arrow points and that is just past the walk over bridge that you will see as soon as you come over the fly over (Walk over shown in the other photo).My cell phone number if anyone gets lost is 0929 4212 410Below is the walk over I mentioned above that you have to pull over right after.Attached thumbnail(s)
