Is It Really Cheaper To Live In The Phils

Oh, speaking of maids...that is another HUGE benefit of living here. Once I was divorced, I had a 2,500 square foot house and no furniture as is the western woman's plan, catch for the wedding only, destroy your confidence and nag you every football Sunday until you run away....Well, I did have a daybed and little TV and computer, as well as some plastic forks and one old pot that I fried in as well as boiled. Even without all that ...an empty house, I had to clean the sucker, which was a pain in the arse. Here, for 3,000 pesos, some dried fish/rice.... and a computer, you can attract many maids to clean your house. Maids become part of the family, and before too long you will learn what makes them laugh, work harder....and what type of porn turns them on...My maid loves the third hole, blond haired guys that are young and good looking (not like me), Japanese and two men with one woman...even more men. :th_thholysheep:Yes, they will not only STOP working when you leave, but be on a computer with porn doing God knows what...but they sure do take a lot of showers when you get back....and we do have a shower massage :89:So, that is a HUGE plus in the Philippines cost wise, and convenience ... porn addicted maids. :541:
It was my understanding that you use to live near Subic Bay, Olongapo. Was there any significant difference regarding monthly salary for maids in Luzon as compared to Cebu? And by the way, where and how the hell did you get your current maid that has those "extra qualities". And one final question: do you provide a biohazard suit for her when she cleans that piano bench of yours??Jake

Maids in Luzon are generally more. Maids in Manila are much more.It is more of a question of city vs boondocks. Maid in Cebu City starting is P3000. Made in the province is P1500Dude, where you paying P75 for SM? Expats in Bogo would take up arms at that price. P50 is considered expensive. It has been a while since my alcoholic friend was in town but he paid P30 for his SM. :541:

Those extra qualities were seen in my safari browser history, as that browser opens up auto style when I start the computer...I then close it down and use Firefox, my preference. The browser also lists the history WITH the actual web pages visited on sight, so it was quite easy to spot, as I do still notice porn...is it still the stuff with nekkid peoples in aroused states of being doing strange movements...no? :any-help:Been a while since I was married to an American woman... and actually needed it. :whistling:And speaking of MY arse, well...it is a lot sexier then my avator...hairy yes, but dingleberry free and I can still crunch pre cracked walnuts between the cheeks...Why you ask?...well, due to the infamous anal kegel exercises, something I was told to do by a barfly...and I can now share all this secret kegel information with all of you because, well...I am an actual idiot, and enjoy cracking walnuts in my arse. :lol:I have learned a few things since I was told to do the Kegel exercises...1- Never listen to a drunken barfly2- Walnuts will not be eaten after you open them up with your arse...by ANYBODY! :Mad:123If you know of anybody who's REALLY INTO kegel exercises, it could be because they have a very very small weener..... nutcracker.jpgMere mortals cracking their nuts....arnoldTongue.jpgThe Kegel master cracking a nut....
Sorry Jake, only answered your last two questions....and was reminded I forgot the first, so I will get this back on topic while I am doing my Kegel exercises here at 4 am. :morning1:I never had a maid in Luzon, but I would assume you pay more being where, city.... and city vs province. :thumbs-up-smile:Forgot to add another great cost saver of living in the Philippines vs the west.Massages. Anywhere from 150 -250 pesos, you can do the math...vs 40 dollars and up, you can have a stress free setting and get the benefits of the stress free massage. Just think! An entire province says "hey Joe"...and your name is Joe, you leave that province totally baffled as to how the hell they could know your name! Were they tipped off? Who told them? Do they know who the second gunman was? You make it past the province and stop at a sari sari store and some guy across the street says "hey Joe"...you suddenly realize this conspiracy is vast, and think to yourself, could 90 million people actually not only know WHO you are, but other "things?" Do they know your mom, dad? Where you were born too? Worked? Do they know where you NOW live? Oh shet!...are they at your house now ripping off all your underwears and 100 pound weight plates? Then it finally hits you...do they know you perform walnut cracking kegel exercises, 3 sets of 100 reps...and do they, have a video of you doing it?...and will they be using my stolen underwear for clothing...or tents? Well, if this happens to you, you simply just compare the cost of the west vs the Philippines, and realize a massage at Heavenly Bliss is 200 pesos (5 bucks) vs 60 dollars in the west, so not only can you feel less stressed about little things, like not always being straight ON, but you can actually get a massage...compared to the west, much cheaper, and not have the added stress of knowing you paid 50 bucks for a western massage. Remember...Massage in the Philippines is around 5 dollars vs the west where it is....yes, 40 dollars.40 dollars PLUS. Remember, this is for a non happy ending massage, cause who needs the stress of negotiating your happiness. What is your happiness worth? Were you really happy, or just horny? Will you need another massage to relieve the stress of the first massage ending...the haggling and guilt? So, IMHO...never get a happy ending massage, the name is deceiving and it could also put stress on your relationship, as what is the price of guilt for a few strokes with another hand, but yet.... another stress free massage, thus doubling your expenses? The Inspector always gives you more free advice then you can ever ask for, and always answers the TOUGH questions. :grouphugg:

One of the things my wife and I like to do is to buy cooked rotisserie chickens, and have them cut up in small pieces, and freeze some parts while refrigerating others, so yesterday at the lower floor of Robinsons mall we bought a couple of chickens and it cost us p190 each for a fairly small chicken which works out to about $4.35 at yesterdays exchange rate, and while back in the states we buy fairly large rotisserie chickens for $4.99, and they often have sales for $3.99, so I often wonder why in a country where labor is so cheap, rents are no doubt lower and chickens are so small, why they cost more per oz than back in Florida, anyone venture to guess?

My guess would be the cost of grain to feed them,I would think most grain would have to be imported or maybe its just a high markup item.If you can buy cooked chickens in the US for around $4.35 then I get ripped off in Australia, bought one today at the supermarket and it was $10.90

Welcome back to Cebu!It also has a lot to do with where you buy it.The first time I went to SM mall, I was saying "Lets get out of here these prices are high!"My impression is Robinsons is worse.I can walk a block from my home and buy a cooked but yes very small chicken for less than what you are paying. Jessie was shocked at the price you're paying. You're paying for the convenience which is worth something for us spoiled Americans. The public market will be hot and you gotta know what you're buying or you might end up with double dead meat.

Yea, Costco rotisserie chicken is about the same price as found around Cebu City and its darn good too. My wife and sister in law both like it.How much is Andock's chicken now Lee? I eat there often. My mother in law just shakes her head when she sees me eat. I can do one whole local chicken myself.
