Does it work that way in thePhilippines?It probably would in that case but many have live in maids so I guess they should be paying their benefits just like a shop owner in the mall or any other employer. Does it work that way in thePhilippines? That's the way I see it too, because our live-out house keeper isn't a salaried employee, but on a daily basis rate and she takes on other odd jobs elsewhere! Live-in housekeepers are contracted and the employer have to provide everything under the Philippine labor law.
