Forum Support Old55 Posted December 17, 2010 Forum Support Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) This is an interesting academic paper on three generations of farm families in Philippines. Some insightful information, I’m curious how this is/has effected the OFW situation in regards to in country economic opportunities and excess population.Overpopulation lack of land and economic opportunities detailed here explain some of the tensions (sibling/parricide grudge killings) we read about in the local papers. Inherited land was often complex and inherited full actual ownership will not always mean exclusive rights or rights to sell. We have all seen this at one time or another just because someone has a deed that land may have legitimate liens of unknown complexity. Some of the charts are beyond my understanding.http://le.uwpress.or...eprint/77/1/130 Edited December 17, 2010 by Old55
