Crime Rate Down By 40%-Police

I wonder if this is true or are they just juggling numbers by underreporting?Crime incidents have been reduced by 40 percent in the past 11 months this year compared to the same period last year, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Saturday.The crime rate decreased although the country held two elections this year alone – the presidential election in May and the barangay and youth elections in October.But amid the significant decrease in crime incidents, Director General Raul Bacalzo, PNP chief, said they have to do more, adding that their goal is to further reduce the crime rate despite the perennial problem of shortage of personnel.The standard security ratio around the world is one policeman for every 500 people.
