No name Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/metro/view/20110123-316031/Car-theft-killings-solvedSo, they torched the man and while he was burning or afterwards they took his partially burned DL?I'm not a cop, never been one but that seems a little odd to me.I wonder is there another way that DL could have got there? A more likely way?Lots of other evidence, they probably did it.I read a story two years ago that has always stuck with me. The PDEA admitted in an interview that they plant evidence when they know someone is a drug dealer but haven't been able to catch them with the drugs on them. Was pretty shocking to me. Filipino I talked to had no problem at all with it.

Filipino I talked to had no problem at all with it. The two men who surrendered to the PNP because of their conscience and fear from their still at large partners, will probably be offered a deal to be state witnesses. The raid on the apartment revealed many solid evidences including other license plates, hand guns, radios and another vehicle that was used to block the victims van. The head of this car theft syndicate are still being hunted down. According to Ramon Tulfo of Philippine Daily Inquirer (my favorite columnist) argues that this syndicate was in business for a long time and protected by the regional PNP: http://newsinfo.inqu...lice-protectionFinally, the PNP went into immediate action by a declaration from President to get off their butts. In the past, in order to win the hearts and minds of the public, often times the PNP would somehow find a way to produce evidence, witnesses and conviction within a couple days. Hmm.......another chance to polish their tarnish badge again.Respectfully -- Jake
Jake Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Well, the masterminds of this car theft syndicate are the Dominquez brothers, who turned themselves infor fear of their lives. Fear from what? They've been bribing the local PNP's for so long Maybe now, the chief of police wants to silence them for fear of own position of being on the take.
