Mr Lee Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 If you are going to be traveling anytime soon, then you might wish to check to make sure you will not be flying in one of their planes, or your flight may be delayed or canceled. If United is cancelling their flights, then it might follow that others may have to eventually also do the same thing. The complete story HEREUnited Airlines said it is in the process of temporarily grounding its 96 Boeing 757 jetliners Tuesday and into Wednesday so it can perform checks on earlier modifications it did to the air-data computers on those planes. It’s only to do with United 757 aircraft. It’s a software update that may or may not have been installed correctly. ANYTHING that flies on a commercial aircraft must be ertified by the FAA Uniteds records were not correct. Not a big deal they will inspect each plane.
