Mr Lee Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 So even IF he is innocent, his life may be ruined, so is it not better to clear or convict him in court, rather than possibly throw it all out because of improper search warrants. I would want my day in court if it was me being charged, and I was innocent, even if they could toss out the case on some technicality. The long arm of the law reached British national Ian Charles Griffiths, who was arrested in London last Saturday. He spent two nights in jail and was allowed to post bail, his Makati-based lawyer Ana Luz Cristal confirmed last night. He was arrested in connection with the Feb. 8 kidnapping of 6-year-old Ellah Joy Pique in Minglanilla town, Cebu, a crime for which Griffiths and his Cebuana girlfriend Bella Ruby Santos were charged by police before the Cebu Provincial Prosecutors Office.“Awang-awa ako sa client ko. (I pity my client). He was very embarrased because his pictures were published on the front pages of newspapers in the UK for two days,” Cristal told Cebu Daily News. She said Griffiths, 48, lost his job in Singapore as a finance director in a company engaged in computers following his arrest.Griffiths told the lawyer: “This is the first time in my whole life that I wll sleep in jail for two nights.”The Briton and his “partner” Santos, were accused by a Cebu police task force of abducting Ellah Joy as she was walking home from school, and then using her for a cybersex operation that caters to online child pornography. The little girl's naked body was found dumped below a cliff in Barili town a day after she disappeared.Griffiths was arrested by police at home last Saturday by London police which reportedly acted upon the request of a government agency in the Philippines. The Complete Story HERE

No name Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 His girlfriend sure doesn't act guilty or she's one crazy Filipina. She challenged a police officer to a fist fight.. Its in the press. The press is pretty much eating her alive.Where is the DNA evidence? I've not seen anything that indicated the blood stains matched. Did I miss that? How can they have that, as they have not had a chance to get any DNA from the suspect.... and plant it. Maybe we can send in a USA TV show cast. to help out..one of the CSI crew, the Miami guys so they can have David help them out. > Cebu Police

If they match it the child's DNA then they have evidence. Not his but hers. The police did find some damning things already so I'm not going to say this is a frame up. I thought the Norwegian arrest was bogus from the start but not so sure about this one.
Mr Lee Posted July 12, 2011 Author Posted July 12, 2011 Well it seems there is some actual evidence as quoted below from THIS news story. So while there were no photos of Ellah Joy, that would not be a surprise, because if you killed someone, be it by accident or intentionally, then surely you would dispose of any evidence ASAP that could link you to the crime. The big question now is, were the photos of those children with or without clothing on? Time will tell as more comes out in the news, but it does seem strange that they would have so many photos of young children. Are they guilty, again time will tell as more about the evidence is released. When Paredes allowed the viewing of the USB last June 9, no photo of Ellah Joy was found in the device.Among the things found was a folder that contains about a hundred 2x2 photos of young girls and boys who appear to be between six and 15 years old. What evidence? I don’t know about this Lee I’m unconvinced they have a case. That newspaper has been highly biased against the two suspects from the time they were arrested. I wish there were justice for that poor innocent little girl and the police could truly find the killer or killers.I have hundreds of pictures of young children too. Am I now a suspect? :th_thholysheep: Edited July 12, 2011 by Old55

Am I now a suspect? Why are the pictures only 2x2 in size? Sounds like passport size? The pics are 2"x2" because they belonged to a guy that also did ID photos, not the suspects, there are news reports, can't be ar*ed to look! By all accounts he fixed their computer. Some lying cop said the USB was full of child porn, looks like he had not even seen it.!They have not prosecuted the witnesses that tried to stitch up the Norwegian and his girlfriend and yet they still rely on what is said by witnesses from the same source.I'm not sure of the guilt of current suspects but the sad thing is that whoever the killers are. The Killers are still outside of the execution chamber where they belong.
