I never had any doubt but found it strange he was unwilling to disclose it until now. Do you think Trump has a plan, many think him kinda light weight but I wonder if maybe he has something going on?

If that is the one he released, then it is the same bs his people released before, so does not list much on it. If he released the real one, then one has to wonder why it took all this time for him to finally release it, my guess it that someone made one up to fit what he/they want people to see. The real one must have something on it that he/they do not wish people to see. Common sense would tell most people, well most thinking people, that anyone who refused to release something for so long, and who is said to have paid big money to make sure it was not released (whether true or false), has something to hide. Anyone who thinks otherwise has their heads in the sand, because if there was nothing to hide or get changed, then it would have been released years ago, when if was first asked for. And NO, none of that is about politics, it should be just common sense that the person who is the president of the US should have not fought so long, and so hard to hide something that did not need to be hidden, unless there was a reason he had to hide it. In this new computer age, anything is possible, so maybe someone who was born that date has finally died, so now they are able to replace that persons name with our wonderful leaders. Something is rotten and I am not smart enough, or in with the correct people, in order to root it out, but possibly someone who will run for president the next time will have the balls to unearth what really should have been brought out way back when. Now before anyone says I am prejudice or this is about politics, I have had to produce my birth certificate numerous times for jobs I applied for during my life and none of those jobs were as important as that of a president, so for those of you who are nay sayers and say it is about race or politics, why did I have to produce mine, as anyone had to who applied for any govt job, and Obie did not have to produce his? The real true answer to that question scares the hell out of me.

As have many of us, but perhaps Obama did produce his birth certificate to whoever accepts applications for the job of president and then asked that it not be made public. I would have been extremely upset if my birth certificate had been made public when I applied for a job. I still believe in a person's right to privacy, even though that right is forfeited every time we board a plane or travel to another country or apply for the presidency etc etc.So the issue for me is that the American people did not, and probably still do not, trust their president OR the governing body who decides who can or cannot fill that position. Not a good scenario IMHO. Kinda reminds me of the Philippines.

Interesting that it lists him as African rather than terms used back in those days which might have been Negro, but I have never heard of a American person being called African until recent years where the term African American started to be used, so why would anyone list him as African in those days if he was half white and half black? Seems to lead to more questions than answers, but I know for sure the term African or African American was not used back in those days, so something is rotten with that birth certificate IMHO and no this is not about race with me, and I have some very close black friends to this date.

It is somewhat curious. As the father is listed as African, coming from Africa, then the mother should be listed as North American, coming from the US. But she is listed as caucasion which means the father should be listed as negroid or capoid (see the web site on races of man).So this birth information does appear to have been altered in current times.

I don't see anything out of order. The Presidents mom is listed as American so Caucasian would be correct. IMO listing his dad as African would be correct in reference to his geographic origin. It sems to me enough living people witnessed his being born in Hawaii to settle any confusion.

I will look at the birth certificate more once I get back to my full size computer, since I am using a netbook and Smart Bro thumb drive while traveling around and that makes it hard to read and slow to respond when trying to make it larger. In the old days that I remember, children of mixed birth were listed as such and not as black (or whatever the word of the time was) or white, since one or the other would not be a true description of the child. So while a lot of people say this is a lot of hot air, I ask why it took him so long to release it, and I say that if anyone wants to be in a public office, then they have to expect lack of privacy nowadays with computers, and I can access almost anyones information online, in some of the sites that I have access to, yet nothing of Obamas seems to be available, so rather than calling himself African American, I think the proper term might be ghost. If I did not know better, then I would think he used to be a spook, NO not in the dirty word used towards black people, I would never do that, in the term used for CIA and the like.
