Lee didn't post any sarcastic comments as you did, that's what pissed me off, you disregarded the forum rules and made it personal, "attack the post and not the poster"! As I mentioned in my profile, "I'm a mild mannered Fil/Am, but don't intentionally piss me off"! "I'm a loving and caring person to my family and close friends"!------------------------No sarcastic comments....more a statement that your 'different strokes for folks' seems contradictory if one's POV is considered negative ....ie...not your stroke.So, it wasn't a personal attack, no rules broken.And....oooooohhhhh......'don't intentionally piss me off!'.....is that a threat? I get tired of negative comments because I've been in Asia too long and it's just like shooting fish in a barrel. It's too easy, no longer rewarding. Negativity does breed negativity, so you find yourself complaining about so many things that soon enough your day is ruined. You stop respecting people. You stop enjoying the place you're at. It kind of defeats the purpose of moving to the tropics or some other exotic environment. I'm not saying you can't complain, that'd be ridiculous. OK, both of you are friend of mine, so could you please do me a favor, since you both had your say already, please drop this before the topic ends up locked. We all have our own different ways, so we each take the written or spoken word differently, so sometimes get too easily offended. We are supposed to be here helping each other, while at the same time having fun doing it, so lets keep this all on friendly terms and get back to the topic. It's better to find what's good about the Philippines instead of posting negative or sarcastic comments, negativity does breed negative comments and the last post above in bold print is a prime example and how some malcontent foreigners show their attitudes and behavior! It's just better not to say anything, if one has nothing good to say about anything! If not, these forums just becomes a battle ground for pissing contests amongst grumpy malcontents who try to piss off other members intentionally on forums, because they just feel like it on any given day! Those types of people need to get a life and spend less time on forums if they can't share anything good about the Philippines or help other members looking for assistance in any way!
