Mr Lee Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Very curious to see this investigative program when its broadcast.CNN It should be interesting if they actually go to some of the clubs, and then I would love to see how the governor explains having places that openly advertise fees to take the dancers home. I think the governor is a good woman and with the correct wishes to do good, but she probably lives on the good side of town and therefore either does not see what goes on right under her nose, or is wearing rose colored glasses so she cannot see it all. Mark my words, there will be a lot more arrests going on in the near future, and maybe even patrons of some of the bars will be filmed and maybe arrested. It might be interesting to see some of the people we have run into on the front pages of the news, but I hope no expats get caught up in the mess, and especially if they are only out having a drink or three. Dave Hounddriver Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 “We would like to highlight these efforts, particularly with regards to Project Lantern in Cebu, as a replicable model to the rest of the world,” Coorlim said in a letter to the governor. I guess they did not go in any girly bars
brock Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 I do not see how they can arrest the customers of the gogo bars, If they are just in there having a drink or watching the show, It is not illegal to barfine or ewr a girl, Because you are just paying for her time away from the bar, It is only illegal when you actually pay the girl for sex,Which I think they would have a hard job prooving, Unless the girl admitted to it.
