paul Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 On the south tip of Negros (Oriental side), about 50 kilometers south of Dumaguete City, there is a small town called Siaton. Just north of the town (but still within its limits), is a small but very nice resort called Monarch Sands. It is situated in an almost completely private cove, offering a white sand beach, (4) native cottages built into the side of ancient coral cliffs, and peace and serenity all around. It may take a bit to get there from Dumaguete, but it will be well worth the trip.

Yes, I have stayed there a couple of times. I will continue going back too, especially as long as they offer me a discount. :3_8_14[1]: ALL: Let them know you heard about it on "another forum" Forums, and they will give you your rooms at half rate, as long as you stay two nights or more, until October 30th.Thanks Paul. The last flights I knew of from Cebu to Dumaguete direct, were in... like 1995? If someone is doing so now, other than via a chartered flight, that would be nice again. paul Posted October 2, 2008 Author Posted October 2, 2008 Maybe it's like riding the Ceres Liner, Chi. It is cheaper because of it being a Cessna 182, with no air-con. :D :D :D Ya know, Php 2,500 isn't a bad price, in my opinion. I wonder what the flight time is from Cebu to Dumaguete? That would be an interesting way to go.
